Dear Faithful, Loyal and Future Customers:

On behalf of The Roost aka "Laketrout" aka “The Lake”, we would like to sincerely thank you for the last 32 years of supporting our Black owned and Operated business.  It’s has been a pleasure to serve everyone under the sun.  To show you just how much you mean to us, we begin a major renovation in May, to update and up grade “The Lake”.   Guess what? After (5) months, we are finally finished. Thank you for bearing with us thru this long and welcomed process. 

For you, “The Lake” has added windows & skylights for a more inviting atmosphere.  You can now purchase your food via the internet or through our new credit card machines. There is now free wireless Internet access, as well as a computer station inside of our lobby for you to use while you wait for your food orders.  New surround sound has been installed in the building to here some of the greatest tunes from the 70’s, 80’, 90’s & the Now.

Three new hood systems have been added to keep the steam and smoke outside and just added a 50"’ inch flat screen inside for you to view the latest news or to just see some great photos. We invite you to email or call your orders in 15–20 minutes ahead of time, so that you may be able to pick up your food from our new Curbside/Express window.  No Lines…No Lines!!!!! 

These are just some of the finer amenities that we’ve added to make your visit to “The Roost”, refreshing and enjoyable. In no shape or form or fashion have we forgotten about our down home roots, which have held us in your good grace.  Here at “The Lake”, we understand that in today’s market place we to must stay up with our customer’s demands, changing times and growing market.

Our competitors like the Cheesecake Factory, McCormick, Roys’, Timothy Dean’s & Gladys’s, provide excellent services, great ambience and extraordinary food dishes.  Yes these to are the bench marks that “The Roost” strive for as well.  It’s our sincere pledge to maintain the highest of quality in our food products, the best customer care, and clean and welcoming premises. And last but not least Friendly and Courteous service.
