The Roost, a.k.a. Laketrout, aka THE LAKE, will this June begin a Boys academy for all young men from the ages of 10 to 17 teen years of age. Known as The Lakers Academy, it will be free to all. (No matter of race, and soon sex and Age) The goal and vision is to teach and prepare boys to be MEN. Our goal will be to teach Manners, Respect and how to build equity in there families and homes. A Major component of our Academy will to teach real estate, computer technology, business and marketing awareness. Thanks to the Emily Madison Foundation along with the Roost, all uniforms, trips airfare etc, will be free of charge. Our young kids will stay at the finest hotels and eat the finest food and visit museums, etc., to see what the other side of life, has to offer. Through the fundamentals of hard work, education, and comment to themselves, there families and God. Below are the uniforms that have been designed for our kids. We are proud to include that the Young Black Designer has designed the uniforms for the Boys Choir of Harlem and countless other organizations and school systems through out the country. Now we ask for you help and deciding what color uniforms and styles we should have. Let us know what color our young men will look astute and brilliant in. Thanks much.
