Dear
Guest,
Welcome back home. This will be a
great year and we are glad that we
continue to do our absolute level
best to serve you. Thanks for those
words (Pastor Jamal Bryant). To
begin we are very happy to inform
you that we have revamped our menu
to give you everything you want. You
now can place a catering order
online. Our Downtown/Inner Harbor
location will open in JUNE. It will
have three levels of eating areas, a
lounge & banquet room. Located @
217 E. Baltimore Street. This is a
thrilling location in the heart of
the City. By the way, our fish,
Apple cobbler, peach cobbler, rice
pudding, shrimp basket, |

Minced BBQ and
crab cake recipes haven't changed. In
fact everything tastes even better. Have
you heard the news? The Lake has been
Voted The Best Laketrout (A Doris
Williams) & The Best Half and Half
(The K-Swift Thriller), by 92Q Jams,
which happens to be The Best radio
Station in Maryland/DC/VA area. Thank
you for your votes we appreciate all
that you continue to do for us.
We are now serving Breakfast. Get ready
because we are going to take you way
down south with our Mayor Shelia
Dixson's Fish & Grits, cream chip
beef, fried sweet apples, chicken livers
and gravy. Whoa it sounds so so good.
Everything we make is home made with
100% Love and Soul. SOULFULLY SOUTHERN
CUISINE.
Last but not least,
we have created our new logo which is
prominently displayed on the home
page. Now you know what we look like.
To finish, The Roost has been black
owned, managed and operated since our
inception in 1974. We are also known
as "Laketrout". Due to our
friendly competitiveness we let our
competitors use the word Laketrout as
well. We are here to set the record
straight. There is only one original "Laketrout".
From this point on, we'll Be Known as
"The Roost, aka "THE LAKE".
We'll always be here with you as a
apart of our Family. |
